Elizabeth Fry

Site Coordinator Team Lead

Elizabeth is thrilled to be joining the Farmstead Team - what a dream opportunity! She will be managing the venue, leading the Farm's Site Coordinator Team, and making the dreams & visions of friends, family, & community members come true through the beauty and charm of the Farm.

She graduated from University of Northwestern - St. Paul with a B.A. in Communication Studies and met her hubby of ten years there.  They live close to the Farm with their three littles.  She comes with extensive management & organizational experience.  She worked for many years as a commercial real estate closer for a firm in downtown Minneapolis and in recent years transitioned to managing their residential & commercial new construction portfolio.  She is a details/system gal but also a visionary and hopes to combine both her personal & professional skills within this job!

Elizabeth is an entrepreneur that loves coffee, reading, writing, music, being active outdoors, and any quiet moments to herself (hello, mom life!).  You can follow more of her journey at: elizabethafry.com

I very much look forward to meeting each and every one of you and partnering together to make the dreams and visions of friends, family, & community members come true through the beauty and charm of the Farm.

Julie Davis

Lead Visionary
Cozy Space Designer

Julie is beyond excited to see the Farmstead bursting with life again and have you be a part of it! Hospitality is her thing, which means she'll offer you a cold soda pop or a cup of coffee or something to munch on. She has a knack for making people feel at home and comfortable, no matter the situation, and has a love of things with chippy paint and a few years under their belt.

Julie graduated with a BS in Business Administration with an emphasis on Marketing from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri. Dennis and Julie have been married for almost 24 years and have three children. She worked in marketing for Maximum Promotions and Swiss Miss before starting a family and spending 10 years as a homemaker. Once their kids were in school full time, she opened and ran a successful staging company from 2006 until 2011, called Rediscovered Interiors LLC, with a partner. In 2010 she started substitute teaching at PACT Charter School, where their 3 children attended school, and continued teaching until purchasing and opening the Round Barn Trading Company with her husband Dennis in 2015.

With over ten years in HR, his knowledge of recruiting, retaining and employment law is extensive.

Mandy loves helping people and being productive.

Robin Brown

Robin has five kids and her children and family are what are most important to her.

A nurse by trade, she has also worked as a substitute teacher, as well as full time flight attendant for 2 years. In additional to working at the Farmstead, she currently works for an estate sale company and paints and renews furniture. She was also featured as a Pedestal Floral Artist at Art in Bloom at MIA.

She and her husband have a cabin up north and while they’re there, you’ll find her on the Hydrobike.

She loves a good French 75 and takes her coffee black.

Linda Gilbertson

She has lived in Cambridge for 18 years, with her husband, Jim, of 28 years.

Both Becky and Jim had been educators for their whole careers, with Becky having taught for over 25 years.

She has two grown children who were both married in the last couple of years to the most wonderful people!

Cathy Fix

Site Coordinator

Cathy is a true Midwesterner with a Southern “twist”! Born and raised near the coast of North Carolina, she moved to Minnesota with her husband and daughter 26 years ago. She embraced the Minnesota winters, riding her own snowmobile with matching purple and teal jacket!

In addition to a career in children’s services she was a stay-at-home mom. It was during this time she also began entertaining and planning every kind of party you can imagine! When she was asked to be the personal attendant for “another daughter” and neighbor, she took it a step further and planned a wedding!

She hasn’t stopped since finding her true passion for planning parties and loves every minute of it! One of her favorite parts of the wedding planning process is connecting people. Whether it is the fabulous florist who becomes the bride’s best friend or the sign artist who creates a custom masterpiece welcoming each guest to a couple’s wedding day!

Cheesin’ hard for the camera because Julie and Dennis had just decided to buy the Farmstead!
