WINTER WEDDINGs
Winter weddings at Erickson Farmstead are stunning. The Farm is almost as spectacular in the winter as it is in the summer. Photos are incredibly unique, highlighting the beauty of winter and snowscape. Enjoy the historic farmhouse, and bring your closest friends and family to celebrate with you. During this off season, you can often take advantage of an overnight at the Farm as well.
OPTION ONE:
PETITE — Host a small wedding and reception in the loft of the Farmhouse (see photos by Captured By Case below). Invite up to 50 of your closest friends and family. In this package, you have use of the Farmhouse and the Summer Kitchen for the entire day to get ready, take photos (anywhere on the property), have a meal, and mingle with your guests. Some people hesitate about the small guest count, until they realize half the people on their list are mom and dad’s friends/coworkers, or Great Aunt Sophia - the one you who used to pinch your cheeks and kiss you on the mouth as a child. We have a feeling you’d rather not invite her anyway. We suggest you count your “must-haves”, the folks you won’t even consider get married without, and see where that leaves you. We know this option isn’t for everyone, but it works great for some people!
OPTION TWO:
FULL — This is our “Best of Both Worlds” option. If you want to say “I do” as soon as possible, but also want the opportunity to celebrate with everyone. Book a date for a small winter ceremony in the Farmhouse to seal the deal as soon as possible. In addition, choose an available date during May - October for a reception/dance to celebrate with your full guest list. You can start your life (and your family) right away, take photos during both seasons, have an intimate ceremony, AND a huge party.
Option Two Includes:
Ceremony Date- 6 hour Farm rental (November-April)
Celebration Date- 7 hour Farm rental (May-October)
Farmhouse on both dates
Summer Kitchen (Groom’s Den) both dates
Grounds for photos, etc.… on both dates
Parking Lot both dates
Reception Barn set for up to 298 on Celebration Date
Carriage House and Patio set for up to 298 on Celebration Date
Feed Run/Covered Pavilion on Celebration Date
